Testimonial:
...We are so pleased with the way the landscape turned out. The design takes advantage of shade so we can use the patio all day. I think we ate at least one meal outside every day it wasn't raining! It is large enough for parties and grandchildren's tricycles. Your design and execution of the patio and landscaping makes our back yard elegant yet comfortable. Also, I must tell you visitors are "WOWED" by the gracious brick walk out front. What an improvement over our too small too close concrete walk. South Bend, IN

Brick Patios, Driveways and Sidewalks

If you're looking for a great landscape company to design and install your brick patio, walk or driveway, drop us an email or give us a call! A creative vision for the patio design is extremely important. However, what lies beneath the brick surface is also a vital element of success.

1. Brick paving must be installed on a compacted base from 4" to 6" thick.
2. Brick landscape pavers are then installed on a layer of bedding sand not more than 1" thick.
3.
The edges of a concrete paver project are supported by plastic or steel edging, installed directly on the compacted base.
4. Brick driveways require a thicker compacted base and usually utilize a thicker concrete paver than sidewalks or patios
5. The surface of any brick paving project should be sloped to direct excess rainfall away from buildings
6. Patio projects can incorporate fire pits, outdoor cooking areas and seating areas
7. Brick sidewalks or patios should be designed to enhance the architecture of the home or business
8. Brick landscape projects should be one element within an overall landscape design
9. A brick patio is more durable, requires less maintenance and adds more value to your home than a deck of similar size
